Meet Our Staff
Amy Edwards, PT
Amy is a physical therapist who graduated in 1996 from Bowling Green State University in consortium with the Medical College of Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She founded Specialized Therapy Services in 2007 upon the principle that each patient deserves 1-on-1 attention. Amy has a large variety of experience working with patients of all ages in multiple settings. She has developed a wide variety of clinical skills with a special interest in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and Women's Health conditions including bowel & bladder control, incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy & post-partum care, and ostoeporosis. In her free time, she loves being with her husband and children.
Brittany Lea, PTA
Brittany is a physical therapist assistant who graduated in 2009 from Rhodes State College with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science. She has always been intrigued by the human body and has had a passion with helping those in need. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to California.
Sabrina Stambaugh
Sabrina obtained her Associate's degree from Lima Technical College and has worked as a secretary for Specialized Therapy Services since April of 2010. Sabrina is a proud parent of 2 children, a daughter who plays tennis in college and a son who is very active with racing and sports. Sabrina and her husband enjoy dividing their time between both children's activities.
Chris Fortman
Chris has worked for Specialized Therapy Services since December, 2010. He is a 1996 graduate of the University of Dayton with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a 1998 graduate of Andrew's University with a Master's in Physical Therapy. Chris has worked in multiple settings throughout his career with a primary focus in outpatient physical therapy and is the prior owner of Superior Rehab physical therapy clinic. He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge and believes strongly in treating all patients individually. Chris has completed extensive training on the treatment of neck, back, and sacro-iliac dysfunctions as well as postural asymmetries including specialty training through Postural Restoration Institute. Chris is a life-long resident of Northwest Ohio, and in his spare time he enjoys bowling, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his friends, wife, and three children.
